On August 06, 2024, The Minister of Resources and Tourism of Brunei and his delegation visited the Cold Storage of Apaccold International Supply Chain Sdn. Bhd.

On August 3rd, Dato Seri Setia Dr. Haji Abdul Manaf (Minister of Resources and Tourism of Brunei) visited the Apaccold Brunei in Muara International Fishing Port, received by Mr Dickson Ho, President and CEO of Apaccold Brunei. The two sides had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the operation of cold storage and trade development prospects.

Through visiting each area of the cold storage site, the visiting group learned about the on-site processing operation, quick-freezing warehouse, freezing warehouse and other related conditions.

At the meeting, Mr Dickson Ho briefly introduced the general situation of the company and its main business, reviewed the process of the cold storage project from investigation to taking over operation, focusing on the professional-level cold storage facilities, standardized operation process and enterprise management process.

The Minister spoke highly of the innovative ideas and remarkable achievements of the cold operation in the Asia-Pacific region and the construction of Chinese trade, and expressed the hope to improve the storage environment in the first kilometer of Brunei aquaculture plant, fishing port and animal husbandry through our professional technology and management capabilities. In particular, he pointed out that he hoped that the business model of Apaccold chain integration could effectively promote Chinese trade. In addition to the existing fish export, it should also drive the meat export of Brunei, realize more global trade transactions, and act as the most important member of the cold chain supply chain in the strategic development of Brunei.
